Shannon was born and raised in Tucson Arizona - she is proud to call the desert Southwest her home! As an Interior Designer she finds joy in creating beautiful and functional solutions for our clients' spaces. Over her eight years in the furniture industry she has gained experience designing for corporate offices, healthcare, education, and hospitality.

Shannon holds a degree in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University. She began her career as and AutoCAD drafter, then soon after moved to the commercial furniture industry - and never left! Every new client and space presents a unique challenge and that is where she thrives.

When she isn't busy designing spaces she enjoys doing puzzles, spending time with her family, and watching Netflix dramas.

 As the Managing Director at Modern Space Solutions, Sara oversees the operational side of the business, including finance, human resources, and contract management.

Sara has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. She started her career teaching high school mathematics before entering the corporate world and has worked as a Finance Operations Analyst for a Fortune 500 company and as a Chief of Staff for a tech start-up. Though mathematically minded, Sara is passionate about people and relationship building. She blends emotional intelligence with strong logistical and administrative abilities.

Sara is a native Tucsonan and mom to three kids. She is innately curious and loves learning new things. She enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.
